This forum will address the fundamental questions about global inequality: What is global inequality anyway? How big is it? Is it growing or does globalization lead to a reduction of inequality? How is inequality within the global North related to global inequality? And how can the confinement to the nation-state as the level of redistributive social policy (the „methodological nationalism“) be overcome in thinking about it? What were the consequences of the COVID19 pandemic on global inequality?
