Friday, November 21st 2025, 1:00-4:30 pm, University of Innsbruck
In view of the multiple crises, we want to offer students, former students and “non-established” interested parties the opportunity to present their own work/ideas/projects and to exchange ideas in a broad forum in order to make the manifold complex changes in the world explainable and understandable: As part of the preliminary program of the 9th Austrian Development Conference 2025 in Innsbruck.
Your topic should be in line with this year’s motto: “Peace, justice and strong institutions”. For us, development as a term is just as flexible as its criticism – all contributions that deal with global or local, societal and social conditions and processes of change in relation to them are welcome. This broad framework includes contributions on development, emancipation, education, economy, poverty, sustainability – all people who work, think, research, create and fight on these topics are cordially invited.
Of course, you are also welcome to simply attend but not present anything. The space is also intended to promote open exchange and to this end: the more, the merrier.
You are also welcome to submit a form if you would like to participate without a contribution, which will make planning easier for us.
If required, we can organize the event in two languages (german/engl.), it is possible to do your presentation in English.

Fill out the form by October 31th and send it to the email address provided in the call.
If you only want to listen, you can register up until the conference!
