A GET ACTIVE LAB will be launched in the workshop with interactive approaches. The aim is to explore how peace, justice and strong institutions can be implemented in regions. Building on concrete project experiences from Lower Austria, ideas from young EU citizens will be taken up and combined with the concerns of civil society initiatives. Based on the results of a future forum, the workshop will discuss which options for action and innovative solutions can be transferred to other regions. Methodologically, the workshop is based on a policy hackathon, in which innovative solutions are “hacked out” and developed within a limited time.
The Südwind project “Empower Ur Region” is supported by “Pro European Values” – an initiative to strengthen civil society organizations, the future of democracy, European values and human rights in Austria.
Empower Ur Region (Empower Your Region) as a project title symbolizes the participation of young people in democracy development processes in the European Union.
