Join us for a quick workshop on the Humanitarian-Development-Peace (HDP) Nexus, to explore how we can break down silos and create more sustainable, integrated solutions to the real-world complexities of humanitarian aid, development, and peacebuilding.
Based on a fictional case scenario, you’ll have the opportunity to step into different roles — humanitarians, peacebuilders, development experts, and donors — each offering unique perspectives on how to address challenges and opportunities. By the end of the workshop, you’ll understand the core principles of the HDP Nexus and hopefully leave with fresh ideas and practical tools for fostering collaboration and driving collective impact.
The workshop is hosted by Global Responsibility – Austrian Platform for Development and Humanitarian Aid, the umbrella organisation of 38 member organisations, active in the fields of development cooperation, humanitarian aid, and Global Citizenship Education. It is facilitated by Birgit Anna Mayerhofer, a freelance consultant who has carried out research, training and strategy development on the HDP Nexus approach for various organisations, mainly in Africa.
