An interactive performance about encounters with others and ourselves.

What is it?
Encounters between people take place differently depending on whether the other person belongs to the same “we” as me or not. The “others” only exist in our imagination, they do not exist in and of themselves but are only “made” in the encounter. In a “rainbow of wishes” (a method based on Augusto Boal, which is used here in the version of David Diamond’s “Theater zum Leben”), encounters between others and ourselves are reflected upon and examined. Which wishes, fears, longings, hopes, fears and expectations come together? What encounters take place between “us” and “the others”? Which of these have been successful and which could and should be different? How can we get to know each other (anew)?
How?
The method used is theater pedagogy, which means that the work is vivid and moving (simple exercises, e.g. “approaching someone”), but always voluntary. No previous knowledge is required and everyone can participate in their own way. The performance is largely shaped by the participants.
For whom?
Every performance is open
… to anyone who is curious.
… for everything that someone knows and has to contribute.
… in its course and outcome.
Anyone who knows situations in which they have been made into an “other”, felt that they did not belong, were excluded or know “others” has knowledge and experience that is valuable for this process and this project. The group can have between 8 and 24 participants.
