Conference time and place:
Date: Friday, 11 November 2022 – Sunday, 13 November 2022.
Opening of the conference on 11 November 2022 at 17.00; registration from 16.00.
Venue of the conference (opening, plenary sessions): Festsaal of the Johannes Kepler University Linz, Uni-Center (1st floor), Altenberger Straße 69, 4040 Linz.
Venue of the workshops and forums: Meeting rooms in the same building.
You will receive more detailed information on the location of your workshop or forum at the registration desk.
The key points of the programme:
1. Understanding: „Global Inequalities, COVID19, War and Violence“. Polylog on Friday evening.
2. Acting: „Embattled statehood and peace work. Approaches to reduce global imbalance“. Key note, interactive workshops and forums on Saturday.
3. Learning: „We already know the solution to the problem. Or don’t we?“. Two plenary lectures and synopsis of the results in the form of a fishbowl on Sunday morning.
Forums & Workshops:
On Saturday, 12.11.2022, we offer you a choice of almost a dozen workshops in the morning and six forums in the afternoon.
At the registration desk, you will receive a voucher for your workshop or forum visit. If you change your mind after registering, you can try to exchange your voucher with other participants at the conference itself.
How to get there:
We kindly ask that you travel to Linz by train.
Arrival at the conference venue from Linz main station:
Take tram lines 1 or 2 to the final stop Universität (journey time approx. 25 minutes). Interval of approx. 5 minutes, fare EUR 2.60.

Catering:
During the breaks you will be provided with coffee, tea and organic juices. On Friday evening there will be a buffet to which you are very cordially invited.
On Saturday, the Mensa in the Uni-Center will offer a choice of two low-priced menus (vegan and vegetarian) for lunch. On Saturday evening, the Mensa will also offer food for sale.
Conference fee:
In addition to the programme contribution, the fee includes a small buffet on the opening evening and catering during the coffee breaks.
With online registration for the conference (until 8 November 2022):

On-site payment at the beginning of the conference:
– Participation fee: 85.- Euro
– Students, non-earners: 50.- Euro
Cancellation: until 31.10.2022 free of charge, until 6.11.2022 50% of the participation fee. From 7.11.2022 the entire fee will be charged.
